Installation Instructions

 This series of valves is compatible with Honeywell Johnson actuators.
 The valve stem moves downwards in the direction of valve opening.
 Before installing the valve, ensure that the pipeline is clean and free of scale, metal flakes and other debris left during welding.
 The pipeline must be concentric when connected to the valve body and not subject to vibration. The water flow direction should be consistent with that marked on the valve body.
 When the actuator is installed vertically on the valve body, avoid installing the actuator under the valve and leave enough space for daily maintenance (such as disassembling the actuator).
 When maintaining the valve, the power supply must be cut off or isolated, and the water system should not be under pressure.

 

 

FAQ

 

1.What are the advantages of a non return globe valve?

The advantages of a check valve include simple operation and easy maintenance. It can control fluid flow and prevent backflow. The integrated design reduces the number of components in the pipeline and improves the reliability of the system.

 

2.How to judge whether the check valve is in normal working condition?

You can judge by observing the position of the valve stem and the flow of fluid. The rise of the valve stem indicates that the valve is open and the medium should flow in one direction. If backflow occurs, the valve disc will automatically close.

 

3.Is the globe type non return valve suitable for fluids containing solid particles?

Generally speaking, check valves are not suitable for fluids containing a large amount of solid particles, because the particles may damage the valve disc and the sealing surface, causing the check function to fail. If it must be used, a specially designed model should be selected or a filtering device should be added.

 

4.How to perform daily maintenance on the globe type non return valve?

Regularly check the wear of the valve disc, valve seat and sealing surface, ensure the lubrication of the valve stem, and clean the impurities inside the valve to prevent seal failure. At the same time, regularly test the check function of the valve to ensure its normal operation.

 

5.How does the non return globe valve cope with high temperature and high pressure environment?

For high temperature and high pressure environments, it is recommended to select a check valve made of high temperature and high pressure resistant materials (such as stainless steel and alloy steel), and ensure that its design meets the corresponding working conditions to avoid seal failure and valve body damage.
