Globe Valves: A Game-Changer in Flow Control Efficiency
1. Product Overview
Our Globe Valves use high-quality forged brass as the valve body material. This material has excellent strength and corrosion resistance, ensuring that the valve can withstand the test of various pressures and environmental factors during long-term use, providing a solid guarantee for the stable operation of the system. The sealing material is nitrile rubber (NBR). Its excellent elasticity and sealing performance enable the valve to effectively prevent medium leakage under different working conditions. Even in the case of frequent operation, it can maintain a reliable sealing effect to ensure the safety and stability of the system.
2. Performance parameters
Working medium: specially designed for cold/hot water systems, widely used in water supply and drainage, heating of various civil and commercial buildings, and general water medium transportation links in industrial production. Whether it is the precise distribution of domestic water or the water flow control in the industrial production process with a water temperature requirement of 5-95 degrees Celsius, Globe Valves can respond accurately to ensure stable and efficient transmission of the medium under suitable temperature conditions.
Fluid temperature range: The wide temperature adaptability of 5 - 95 degrees Celsius enables the valve to work normally at common ambient temperatures and water system operating temperatures, avoiding problems such as material performance degradation or seal failure caused by temperature changes. In the cold winter heating system, it can effectively resist the impact of low temperature on the valve body and seals to ensure the smooth flow of hot water; and in the hot summer cooling system, it can also stably control the flow of cold water to maintain the cooling effect of the system.
3. Installation Guide
For high-rise buildings, the pressure distribution of the water system is more complicated. In order to ensure that the water pressure of the branch pipes on each floor is stable and within a safe range, we recommend the use of pressure reducing valves and Globe Valves on the ground floor branch pipes. The pressure reducing valve can reduce the higher pressure of the main pipeline to an appropriate level, avoiding leakage and rupture of the ground floor branch pipes due to excessive pressure. At the same time, it also provides a stable water inlet pressure for the upper branch pipes to ensure the balanced operation of the entire building water system. During the installation process, the following steps must be strictly followed:
Install the pressure reducing valve at the selected bottom branch pipe position, ensure that the inlet and outlet directions of the pressure reducing valve are correct, and that it is firmly connected to the main pipe and branch pipe to avoid looseness or leakage.
Globe Valves are installed on the branch pipe behind the pressure reducing valve. According to the pipeline direction and actual operation requirements, determine the installation direction of the valve, and ensure that the valve stem is perpendicular to the ground for easy operation and maintenance. When connecting the valve to the pipeline, use appropriate sealing materials and connection methods. For example, when threaded connection is used, an appropriate amount of sealing tape should be wrapped to ensure the sealing of the connection.
After the installation is completed, the entire system is pressure tested to check for leaks. During the test, gradually adjust the pressure setting value of the pressure reducing valve, observe the operation of the Globe Valves and the water pressure changes of the branch pipes on each floor, and ensure that the system pressure is stable and meets the design requirements.
4. Application Advantages
Precise flow control: The unique structural design of Globe Valves enables the valve disc to accurately control the flow area of the medium, thereby achieving precise regulation of the flow. In some application scenarios with strict requirements on water flow, such as water supply for fine experimental equipment in laboratories and precise batching systems in industrial production, the water flow can be accurately adjusted according to actual needs to ensure the accuracy of experimental results and the stability of the production process.
Reliable sealing performance: The perfect combination of nitrile rubber sealing material and forged brass valve body provides the valve with excellent sealing performance. Whether in static or dynamic working conditions, it can effectively prevent the leakage of water media, avoid water resource waste, equipment damage and safety hazards caused by leakage, and reduce the maintenance cost and operation risk of the system.
Strong durability: The high strength and good corrosion resistance of the forged brass valve body and the durable characteristics of the seal give Globe Valves a long service life. Under normal use and maintenance conditions, it can operate stably for many years, reducing the downtime and cost investment caused by frequent valve replacement, and providing users with a reliable and long-lasting flow control solution.
Our Globe Valves demonstrate excellent performance and reliability in the field of cold/hot water flow control with their high-quality material selection, precise performance parameter settings and reasonable installation guidance. They are indispensable and efficient flow control equipment in various types of buildings and industrial water systems, bringing users a safe, stable and accurate fluid delivery experience, and facilitating the smooth implementation and long-term stable operation of engineering projects.
